Evaluation of Service Performed:   We purchased a new 2017 Tiffin Phaeton 40AH from Bretz. There
were several items that needed to be fixed before we left. We spent
almost 2 weeks "camped" in the parking lot waiting. They knew
before we arrived that the black tank sensor was defective. After we
had been there for almost a week they ordered a replacement. When
the part arrived, it was the wrong part. They reordered and said the
part would be there the next day. It wasn't. They then said it might be
a couple of days. We were repeatedly told to get everything packed
up because we would be put in a service bay in 10 minutes for
repairs. Never happened. I finally blew up and asked for a tracking
number for the part. No can do! Then I got really got POed. Called
the supplier and got the tracking number. Part arrived the next
morning. If I hadn't called for the tracking number, the part would not
have been shipped for days. The individuals at the dealership were
mostly friendly. The problem was that no one ever took ownership of
the problem. Then they placed a sticker on the windshield with the
dealer's name on it. I said I wasted it removed. They refused saying
this was their way of marketing. This came from the owner. This idiot
never had heard of happy customers giving referrals. Well here is
mine. Never, ever have any business dealings with Bretz! We
waisted almost 2 weeks in their parking lot for something that should
have taken 3-4 days.

Service Performed:   Our awning topper over the slide-out was damaged due to high straight winds in South Dakota on July 4, 2016. Knowing that my husband and I will be in
Missoula,MT towards the end of August and Bretz was a Tiffin dealer, my husband started getting the wheels moving by trying to get the awing ordered
from Carefree in Colorado through Brezt. It took many phone calls to the service manager to even get this done. He never would return a phone call or
call when he said he would. My husband is pretty persistent and kept at until the part of ordered. Our first appointment was for August 11th. That was
cancelled because the part had not been ordered. The appointment was rescheduled for around August 22 or 23. We arrived in Missoula on August 22nd.
Drove the jeep over to Bretz to make sure the part was delivered, and it was. The Service Manager said he could get us in on Wednesday morning August
24th. We arrive with our motorhome at 8:45 am. My husband went and talked to the Service Manager and he said they could get us in within the hour. Now
it's around 11:30 and we watch the manager get in his truck to go to lunch. When he came back around 12 something, my husband went and asked when
are we going to get worked on. He said we were next. Now it's 2:00 p.m. My husband went into the office to talk with the service manager and the main
manager just happened to talking to the service manager. The service manager said he was not able to fit us in today. My husband was shocked. The main
manager said the work on RV's that were bought from them first. After sitting in their parking lot most of the day, they then tell us how they really operate.
We told them we were leaving the following day. Then the service manager had the nerve to tell my husband to come back in a month or two when they're
not so busy. At the very beginning, when we started talking to the service manager in early July, we told him and told him several more times that we live,
work and travel in our Tiffin motor-home. Mr.Tiffin needs to know how this business treats his consumers. This is why I do not trust dealers and rather
take our coach back to Red Bay to have any work done it. So if you are passing through Montana and need service, stay away from Bretz, even though they
may be a dealer that sells your brand of RV. We bought our motorhome new in 2015, it wasn't the floor plan I wanted. So when I saw their new Tiffins, I
thought there might be the possibility to do a trade in again. After how we were treated, this dealer lost any chance of a future buyer. Service and
Customer Service should be a top priority with any business if they want to reach new customers.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Since we never bought an RV, they said their buyers came first. Even though we had a morning appointment and they never told us that during all of our
conversations since July 4th. They wasted our time by having us sit in their parking lot from 8:45 am to 2:00 pm. Never again!

Work Done on:   5th Wheel Trailer
Service Performed:   Warranty repairs on our Highland Open Range Roamer. We were told in Dunlap, Tn. where we bought our 5th wheel that Bretz did
all warranty work. Our 5th wheel sat for 3 months in their lot with an appointment date set. It took 3 month after the
appointment date to get Bretz to work on it. It wasn't repaired properly and we had to bring our 5th wheel back 3 more times.
They charge $50.00 more an hour for labor than their competitors.

  Work Done on:   Travel Trailer
Service Performed:   Dropped trailer off on June 10th to have 2 valve leaks in the water system repaired. Did not get it completed until July 1st. After paying it took them
55 minutes to find my camper which they had just repaired this same day. They have the slowest customer service department and we have
never been there when we didn't have to wait for extended times.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Work seems to be ok but they do not repair, they replace.

Service Performed:   This is NOT JUST service . . . BUT PURCHASE of a used RV at Bretz which shows they DO NOT SERVICE their RVs prior to putting an item on their lot as for sale & then misrepresent the RV to the buyer. You cannot be assured of driving home in a used RV from Bretz. My RV friends call it 'the trip from hell,' I call it a 'death-mobile.' Item is a 1991, 31', Class A, Bounder. Day to drive home, batteries were dead so they towed it back into the shop for two regulators or resistors. I drove 1,000 miles from Missoula to my home in Nevada and had 2 tows, 2 flats, 2 engine kills (NO steering & NO breaks), battery cable that fell off, & dead generator. It took 6 days to get home vs 2 with these layover for repairs & tires. I have spent $1,500 just to get home. At home, driving to RV repair, had 3rd flat. By my local 'certified RV mechanic,' had $2,000 repairs done to engine, engine mount, heat shield, & replaced the two corroded house batteries, plus full tuneup. I was told by Bretz that this Bounder would get me up my 5,000' mountain faster than my trade-in which got 40-45, the Bounder only goes 18 MPH up this grade. The tires were misrepresented as 'you are lucky, it appears they have all just been replaced' when in fact, BIG O signed a statement that tires were at half-life & were slathered with Armor All & covered a 4.5" sun-crack on another tire. Onan 7,000 works, used 1 qt of oil in less than 100 miles, then quits, problem is stator. My local mechanic found leak but to fix the stator will be $3-4,000, new gen would be $5,000. I need to replace the remaining 3 tires before using as an RV should be used. Total: $9,000+/- due to Bretz not checking anything on a used RV for sale on their lot when they knew you need to drive it home!!!
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Twice, I was told they operate under 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it.' The RV public needs to know that they do no checking other than appliances (refrigerator/microwave) & that Bretz should advertise their used items as: YOU MUST PURCHASE AN EXTENDED WARRANTY AS YOU MAY NOT GET OUT OF THE BRETZ ZIP CODE. We RVers need this on-line help for purchase & repairs & I thank you for being there for us.
