2016 Ford Transit 350HD cutaway chassis based class C motor home with 10,020 miles. RV went into Engine Fault, aka Limp Mode,
three times on trip. Ford warranty referred me to Sonju Ford the closest dealer to my trip's location. Sonju generally do not work on motor homes. I asked if they would simply plug-in to the vehicle's ECM computer for a reading of the trouble code. I only had to wait less than 10 minutes before a tech came out and read the code. Turned out to be a well-known problem with Ford, the Throttle Body. I opted to have my hometown dealer, Webber Ford Detroit Lakes, MN, replace the throttle body. |
