Tore hole in oil pan on forest road, engine seized. Called auto service shops in Salida Co, got outrageous quotes for replacing engine (salvage, used) $5800+
! Referred to Jeremy's by coworker from job last year in Pueblo, quoted $2200-2600. Paid $2600 which included a new starter, and job done a day early. Coworkers in Salida helped me tow the car to Pueblo West for service. They fit me in right away, and found a salvage engine in Penrose, Co.. |

I had to arranged ride to Pueblo from coworkers, and to another town to return rent car. Guys were very polite and informative when I called on status of job,
understanding my logistics problem. I was treated like a customer, NOT getting ripped of because I'm a woman. Engine is running great and I will certainly plan a stop there for routine service when passing through Colorado again. |
