We stopped at Camping World in Biloxi and they were overloaded with work and referred us to Happy Camper Service in Picayune, MS. They took us right away and repaired that and other things they noticed. We were back on the road several hours later. They did an excellent job then and on our most recent visit to them. They saw things we were unaware of and fixed them. Also, they took the time to explain exactly what the problem was and how they repaired it. We would highly recommend them to anyone. Their service center is clean and comfortable, and they are very friendly. Bought my rig as temporary living quarters due to hurricane Katrina. Over the years we have used various RV Service Centers in Dallas, Alabama, Florida and Louisiana. One of my RV travel buddies mentioned his favorite was Happy Camper in Picayune MS. What a fantastic experience this turned out to be as compared to previous dealings in the above named states - including the dealer from whom we purchased the coach. From the time we arrived at Happy Camper to our delivery today, there is, in my opinion, no service establishment that comes close to this facility. The people such as Lonnie, Jeremy and all of the employees are knowledgeable, helpful, and treat customers like "family". When preparing the work order, patient discussion and suggestions are recommended to insure your problems will be taken care of promptly and professionally. Replaced original trailing arms with stronger after market trailing arms. Change all oil, air, fuel filters and oil in generator and coach engine. I recently purchased an 11 year old coach and brought it to Happy Campers after speaking with some fellow campers that highly recommended them. I brought it in to have the engine and generator serviced as I did not know how long ago it had been serviced. Chad alerted me to the fact that my Monoco Cayman (models from 2002-2007) had serious problems regarding the trailing arms. The originals were not built heavy enough and prone to failure. He went under the coach and took pictures of mine which had previously cracked, been welded, and now the welds were failing. Scary stuff. He then printed out about 25 pages of other instances of this problem. Had they failed while on the road I probably would have lost control of the coach. After removal one arm had cracked 95% around the arm. Thank god these guys are so knowledgable. Lonnie kept me informed as the work progressed and gave me some technical pointers as well. After the tow packaged was installed Shaun the technician took his time, about 45 minutes tutoring me on how to connect and disconnect the tow package as well as the braking unit. He wanted to be sure I had it down even though he had to work a little late past closing time on a Friday evening.   Evaluation of Service Performed:   Excellent work, great friendly, knowledgable staff. We now have a 5th wheel by Forest River. We were getting ready to make a trip when we noticed our brakes would lock up on the trailer when we plugged the 7 way up to our truck. We of course freaked out and called Happy Camper right away. In a state of panic we were insured over the phone that it sounded like something simple and it would be something they could get to and repair. Still not resting assure we slowly towed it in without the 7way plugged up. Once we were there Konner, service writer, listened to our story and dispatched it out to their wiring guy Shaun. As we waited (for the bad news) about 30 minutes they brought the unit back around and said it was all repaired. They said it was the emergency break away wires had melted together when we accidentally pulled it and put it back in although it had only been out under a minute. Happy Camper has amazed me once again with their knowledge and being able to go straight to the source. Their labor rate is $95 an hour but when you know campers like they have shown us they do it doesn't take as long to go straight to the issue and repair it. Not to mention while only there 30 minutes I was walking around and noticed all of the certificates on the wall of all the schools and training they had completed. There were at least 75 from jacks to slides to things I don't even know what it was. These guys are very experienced. I got some custom wood floors put in my Foretravel with some wood inlays. About 20 years ago, I did this type of work. Unfortunately, with my back issues, I can no longer do this. But they can and they can do it extremely well!! Got some new TV�s and upgraded my Roof A/C�s as well. It is hard to find a service center that you can trust with your investment but I know that when I bring my motor home to this facility that the work will be done quickly and correctly. We knew several items we needed fixed when we bought our 1999 Airstream Land Yacht. Lonnie did a complete inspection for us, told us what was important to fix and what we could delay. We couldn't be happier with the service and the work. We previously attempted to have the unit serviced at two different mobile RV service companies and they were not capable of making the repairs. Happy Campers diagnosed and removed the unit on the first day so we could return to a local campground that evening. They negotiated coverage with our Good Sam extended warranty people. Had the parts the next day and had everything in working order. While we were there they also removed our 27" Sony Trinitron TV and installed our supplied Samsung Smart TV. They built the new TV in and it looks like it came from the factory that way. They also fix our power door awning.   Evaluation of Service Performed:   All the work done was excellent. Lonnie gave us very realistic estimates in advance, explained the work completely and kept us up to date throughout the process. They did exactly what the said exactly when promised. The shop had to remove all the furniture which is welded aluminum framework with cushions and backs screwed in. they removed the factory install vinyl and the cheapo, thin fiberglass factory installed sub-floor. Before the new plywood sub-floor was installed, all seams and screw holes were filled and sanded.   Evaluation of Service Performed:   We had the opportunity to see the work in progress a few times and are extremely pleased with the attention to detail and the quality of the work. Last year, Ken replaced the cooling unit on my Norcold 1200 4 door refrigerator   Evaluation of Service Performed:   I saw the Happy Camper mobile van parked on a site while they were working on a neighbors coach last year and I copied their information down. I than went on line to review this company just in case I ever needed service when I was in the area. When their reviews were positive, I kept their phone number. Being a fanatic and mostly not trusting of repair facilities in general, owning a Tiffin motor home the only placed I trusted to work on my coach is the Tiffin's repair facility in Red Bay Al. Red Bay is not around the corner and last year when I found myself in Bay Saint Louis Mississippi with a bad refrigerator cooling unit I called the Happy Camper shop. They were booked but advised they had a mobile service van that would come out to evaluate my problem. I could go on and on as to how professional their repair man Ken was and what a wonderful job he and his helper did on my refrigerator, which by the way now works better than new, so this trip when I experienced my air conditioner issues I didn't hesitate to contact them for help. Ken was out today and as I write this review, both of my air conditioners are chugging along cooling the coach and dumping the water out the condensate hoses as they were designed. They also recommended that I replace the tires on the unit because they were to lite of a tire for my unit and explained why. Then told me what to do with the blown tire and the others, get them back to the manufacture for inspection which I did we will see how that pans out. Happy camper resealed the complete unit and was actually cheaper than they originally quoted. Very honest people and I was treated like they had known me forever. I have never been somewhere that I left with twice the knowledge as I arrived with. I will go out of my way to go back there when I need something else done.   Evaluation of Service Performed:   Very good job. Very honest staff. Trustworthy people. The day before an 800-mile trip, the forever water heater control board failed. The part was ordered overnight and they installed and calibrated it as soon as the part came in. Got me on my way, a happy camper. The exceptional aspect of this was the shop was jammed full and one of the owners, Jeremy, came out from the counter and made the diagnosis and repair himself. When we arrived in Slidell, LA I discovered that the transfer switch got fried during the power outage. It was after hours so I left a phone message. Lonnie got me in the next morning and replaced the transfer switch. They did a great job and charged me a very reasonable price for the work. They did not try to take advantage of a traveler far from home. A friend of mine had taken his motorhome to Happy Camper Service Center and was real pleased. I know how particular he is with having everything perfect. I figured if he was happy, I'd give this shop an opportunity to do the job.   Evaluation of Service Performed:   After bringing it to them, Lonnie reviewed everything that I wanted done. Duncan rebuilt my TV cabinets to fit the big flat screen TV my wife picked out. They installed new ceramic tile flooring, new tile backsplash, new in motion satellite antenna and replaced some of my furniture. I've got a happy wife now. I have a brand new motorhome on the inside. I'll be bringing it back to them for some fiberglass and paint work soon where my wife turned too sharp and took out a mailbox. I've been to other RV shops, I will go nowhere other than Happy Camper Service Center. They had a new dryer installed and running in less than 24 hours from my first call. Their price for the dryer itself was less than Camping World with no shipping charges.
