Kwikee steps would not open. Called South Jetty RV and was referred to Tom. He answered his phone immediately and said he was just finishing a
job and could be at my location within 20 minutes. He got to my RV on time, crawled under the steps, tested for power to the motor and determined that the motor was jammed. He removed the motor, tapped it a few times to dislodge the jam, and replaced. Steps worked perfectly. He showed me which screws to loosen (do not remove the motor as it is difficult to realign the gears) in the event this problem happens again. He also checked the water in my batteries and showed me how to check and fill to the correct level. |
