Well, this wasn't really a repair - it was getting hard to find parts. I needed some water filler stuff that nobody in nearby Porterville had. I went and
got what I thought were the right parts off of their display shelf, came back to my trailer and found they were wrong. I called RV Express the next day with part numbers of the RIGHT parts from the nice catalog they gave me. I was first told theat they would order the parts that afternoon and have them from RIVERSIDE (250 miles away) the next morning. Later that same afternoon, they called me back and said that they had got the parts from a local supplier - SAME DAY SERVICE ON SPECIAL ORDER PARTS!!! The nice lady said not to expect this to happen EVERY time. |

On our way to Yosemite we had an accident with our 5th wheel which ripped off the lower back end of our camper. Repairs required replacing the entire back cap, window included. Parts had to be ordered and shipped via freight from the manufacturer in Indiana.
The first thing RV Express did...pulled 3 guys off other jobs to do a patch repair on our rig so we could continue on our trip! It took only 3 hours for them to build us a new bumper with working tail lights and to attach a sheet of plastic to cover the framework and insulation in the back end, seal around the repairs to prevent leaks, and check all our interior electrical outlets to make sure we'd have electricity without shorting out or blowing a fuse. They also sent one of their guys to another RV supply store to obtain a 50 amp extension cord for us to borrow, at no charge, so we would have electricity while camping. Our electrical cord winder could not be repaired on the spot hence the extension cored required. The folks at RV Express could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Because they were willing to patch us up on the spot, we were able to continue on to Yosemite. We were so impressed with them we decided to drop our 5th wheel off at RV Express on our way home and give them the real repair business. |

The repair work on our 5th wheel is excellent. Can't even tell anything happened, it looks like new.
The folks at RV Express kept us informed of progress every step of the way via phone calls to update us on communications with our insurance company, parts ordered, shipped, and received, and work progress. When work was completed and we traveled back to Visalia to pick up our rig, they even plugged it in and turned on the refrigerator so it would be cold and ready to be stocked with food when we arrived. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this repair shop! |
