  Date of Service:   7/8/2010
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   They were supposed to fix a hydraulic leak at the hydraulic control module.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Terrible. They didn't fix the leak entirely, and they didn't clean the area, so there was hydraulic fluid everywhere. We had to leave Washington and head to Michigan, but it appeared there was still a leak. We took it to the HWH service center in Elkhart and they found some loose connections, which they fixed. Western Motorcoach charged us $363, and we had to pay $78 to have the repairs repaired. Letters to Western Motorcoach requesting a refund of $78 went unheeded. I called them, and even had Highways action line contact them... twice. Still no response. They were not particularly friendly and didn't seem to care whether I thought so or not. I would NEVER go back here.

  Date of Service:   12/2/2007
Work Done on:   Class A - Gasoline
Service Performed:   Bracket broke on drivers side fender causing fender to flair up cracking the fiberglass.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   The original bracket had braces that ran along the inside of fender for stability. They never replaced the bracket after I told them no less than 5 time how it was before it flew apart. They put a small L bracket and a bolt through the fiberglass. Repair lasted less than 5 miles. I repaired the unit myself. It was under warranty and took them 3 weeks to get parts , that they never used, because it would be to time consuming for them to repair it right!!

  Date of Service:   1/1/2007
  Company Contact:   Tom
Work Done on:   5th Wheel Trailer
Service Performed:   Replaced rubber roof fabric.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   The roof fabric on my 5th wheel had to be completely replaced due to wind storm damage. This required that the air conditioner, electric vent fans and sky-lites all be removed and reinstalled.

It took them 3 weeks to do the job and when they called me to tell me it was ready I asked if everything had been checked as I was leaving for California with it that day. The service manager "Tom" assured me that everything had been checked. When I got the unit home I found the TV antenna crank controls disassembled and laying on the counter. Additionally the interior of the trailer had not been cleaned after the work was complete. When I arrived in southern California it was discovered that the electrical had not been connected to one of the vent fans and the air conditioner had not been reinstalled properly. My phone call to Tom @ Western Motorcoach resulted in his promise to reimburse me for the cost of fixing these problems. The cost was $105. After returning to Washington I stopped by Western's shop and gave the receipt to Tom who said a check would be in the mail in 2 or 3 days. Two weeks later I phoned again and Tom said he would take care of it. One week later I phoned again and Tom assured me the check was in the mail. The check did arrive the next day. The result of all of this is I would never do business with this company again.

PS:
The California company that fixed the problems was Blair Station RV in Sky Valley California. (near Palm Springs) Their man came out to the RV park the day after taking my order and fixed everything in a quick professional manner.

  Date of Service:   12/5/2004
  Company Contact:   duke or sammy
Work Done on:   Class A - Gasoline
Service Performed:   Had just purchased my '99 Rexair class A from Western, and did the pre-delivery walk thru with the tech. Everything checked out fine and we were on our way. We didn't get more than 2 mies away, and the engine began stalling and coughing. Turns out we had a bad "maf" sensor. Had it replaced at Chucks in Everett, WA. (per direction from service mgr at Western (Paul). When it came time to pay for the $380.00 repair bill....Duke stated that owner "Sammy" said no, they wouldn't cover it because the mh was bought "as is"...this is ridiculous, and extremely poor service that they obviously condone. I had just paid them 50k for a mh, and it did not even get 3 miles, and they couldn't cover $380.00! Shortsighted cheapskates.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   No work performed by them, just refusal to cover work they should have.
