Work Done on:
Travel Trailer

Service Performed:
Safety Inspection - Included wheel bearing service, break inspection and repair, checkout of all electrical (AC/DC), propane systems including the appliances, fresh water system and holding tanks. I needed an expert to evaluate the condition of a 1987 Avion 34W. It's a 3 axle rig and I needed to be certain about safety with my family.

Evaluation of Service Performed:
When the work was completed I was assured that everything was in working order except: Needed batteries, heater for refrigerator and that the gas pilot on the range has a small leak. They repaired a brake spring on one of the drums as well. Sprads went over the work with me and said everything else was in order. I was good to go! Great, I made the deal.
Reality: Running lights did not work, break controller reported 'shorts' and the 12v supply from the tow vehicle did not supply power.
Got it home, found the 6 way connector on the trailer completely rusted out. It fell apart when I opened the case.
What gets me is my expressed concern for safety and the assurance I got from Sprads that the rig was 'road worthy'.
Oh, did I mention that the 'Breakaway switch' was not even there!
