After tow truck driver dropped our diesel pusher, the boom on the truck smashed in our front windshield and bent some supports, cracked and damaged the front cap, and damaged the passenger kitchen side slide. Camping World prepared an estimate to fix damages in the amount of $16,512.61 plus an addendum to replace the slide motor for $948.52 or a total of $17,461.13. The tow truck company's insurance agreed to pay for the repairs. It took until December 9, 2011 for the repairs to SUPPOSEDLY have been completed.

Camping World did not perform the contracted repairs but billed the insurance company and was paid. Approximately 3 hours after leaving the repair shop we stopped and tried to extend the damaged slide and had a POP! come from the counter top as it lifted about 1". Also the slide made all kinds of noises when it (slowly) was retracted. We were near Wildwood, Florida so we stopped and made an appointment with Alliance RV and Repair to assess the damage. They reviewed the work order provided by Camping World and discovered that approximately $4,300.00 of repairs had not been done. They took pictures of the damaged areas and indicated this would provide proof that the contracted work was not performed that Camping World had been paid to complete. Upon calling Camping World and informing them of the situation, they originally denied responsibility for anything but later agreed to pay Alliance RV Repair to perform the work they didn't do. We also informed the Insurance Company about the situation. The Insurance Co. is now dealing with Camping World.
We spent over two months waiting for repairs that weren't performed and now are waiting for two weeks more to have the repairs done correctly.

Repaired roof leak around fantastic vent for warranty. Asked to check water tank bracket repair and give estimate. Asked to check water heater propane operation.

The work completed seems fine, fixed roof leak with Dicor.
However, the estimates for these repairs and the completed roof leak total was obscene. I could not believe the cost for a roof, small caulk job around vent, was $200 and to install water tank bracket was over $400. I am getting a new one for $165 elsewhere. Chalet would not allow the water tank repair because it was so obscenely high. The roof leak they paid for but I found two other places that would have charged about $35-$55 respectively.
Good work and Sonja was truly helpful and a nice person. But extremely expensive.
