| Service Performed: | Diagnosed and replaced alternator on Bluebird Diesel (Cummins) after batteries died and caused run away charging - battery also replaced in a remote town near entrance to Death Valley. Lucky to find him - he is the Detroit engine service within 200 miles of Beatty. | ||

| Service Performed: | Called out to check on Splendide stackable washer that would not fill with water. Also to check on condition of house batteries. | ||

Although he could not fix the washer problem due to parts not being available in the amount of time I'd be in the area, I was very impressed with John's
knowledge of RV systems, since my initial impression was that he just worked on diesel engines from the other reviews. But he said although the bulk of his experience in the trucking industry and his specialty is with rebuilding engines, his years of experience with RVs and their systems has given him the ability to fix many components - the main issue is getting parts in a timely manner since Beatty is pretty remote. He was very patient in going over some other RV parts related things like battery maintenance, tire pressure, types of oil, etc. I was very impressed with John and wanted to let RVers know he was in this area and not just for diesel engine work. |

| Evaluation of Service Performed: | Most knowledgeable diesel person, I've met - - does all road service work for Peterbuilt trucks within 300 miles of Beatty, Nevada, 120 miles north of Vegas and near entry to Death Valley. Has a small shop in Beatty. | ||
