Hard to find solid technicians in the RV world, Kevin is one of them! Was
referred to Kevin through Magnum. After reading these reviews decided to give him a call to have an Auto Generator Start installed. He was knowledgeable, skilled and honest. He had all the parts in stock. He has electrical hookups and the shop is across from a lake. Not a bad area to spend a day or so while you rig is getting worked on. Since we were there we had Kevin add a T-adapter to our propane tank and do some minor splicing for us. He�s in high demand so make sure you call ahead and have patience. Pricing was fair for quality work. The job took a bit longer than he estimated, but he honored his estimate. |

With all the awesome reviews on the American Coach forum we
decided to drive 10 hours to get our electrical system evaluated in our 2003 American Eagle. When you have an older RV things are bound to go wrong. After taking it to several places in North Carolina with mediocre results, we will always drive the 10 hours to Kevin Mallory's Cruising America RV service in Ohio. in your already full schedule to help us with our 5 month new RV. Thanks to your technical expertise and kindness you fixed our RV A/C when we were stranded 2500 miles from home, during a heat wave. | Service Performed: | We were in Gatlinburg, TN, when our power source manager went out. Although Tom Johnson service center and RV was only 50+ miles away and a selling and authorized dealer for my unit, American Tradition, they could not even look at it for 3 weeks. Kevin Mallory I knew by reputation and being a former American Coach employee did many types of work. We called and he told us to come up and he would check it out. | ||
| Evaluation of Service Performed: | We found that the unit was fried. It as expected was obsolete as they did not make that model anymore. Kevin and his crew put us in a new Magnum unit in quick time with reasonable charge. Additionally they coordinated this with our Good Sam extended coverage to get most all except the deductible paid. Yes, I would use them again. | ||

We had a list of changes and modifications these items were completed:
- Provide access to shore cord compartment, when power fails. - Install Autoformer in shore cord compartment. - Install solar panels and controller. - Protective coating on windshield to prevent chips. These items have parts on order and will be completed later - Install polished stainless steel kick plates on entry steps. - Awnings over two windows. - Install a propane outlet for passenger side. - Replace the night/day shades with newer better, easier to operate ones. The items completed were done quickly and cleanly installed. Kevin and his staff are friendly and efficient. The shop also has 50 amp hookups for three coaches, with a dump station and water available about a mile away in the Mercer County Fairgrounds. The fairground also features reasonably price RV parking with full or partial hookups. Although Cruising America specializes in electrical repairs and modifications to systems including WiFi, HDTV antennas, and satellite TV and internet access, they can handle a wide range of repairs. You just need to ask for what you need. If they can�t do the job you will be referred to someone who can. |
