Company Contact:
Ray Clark, Service Manager

Work Done on:
Class A - Diesel

Service Performed:
Six month old Allegro Bus on Freightliner Chassis would not build air above 65 lb. I called and spoke to Jim Sprague, shop foreman. As a result of telephone conversation I was able to drive the rig. In addition, Jim diagnosed an additional problem with the air system and convinced me to bring it in for a look. The next morning I was able to drive 50+ miles and had it at their location.

Evaluation of Service Performed:
After replacing a malfunctioning air check valve, further troubleshooting by Jim found that an air line that had been crimped since the chassis was built. The rig ran over 8000 miles with the system bypassing air through a valve designed as a backup. This caused it to fail.
Without Jim looking further than the obvious, I could have been back on the road with a problem but not THE problem fixed.
When I drove the rig into the facility, I explained the problem to Ray Clark, the service manager. It was brought into a service bay, and work began immediately.
A great troubleshooting, fast repair and highly professional technician and management.
