Date of Service:
8/5/2008

Company Contact:
Paul Marsh

Work Done on:
Class A - Diesel

Service Performed:
Cummins engine stopped with "stop engine" light coming on. Picked location as they were in the Cummins book that came with my motor home. Contacted service manager, Paul Marsh, who stated they could hook up to computer and find out why engine faulted. Had coach towed to their shop. They hooked up computer, but was unable to connect to engine system. They explained they are no longer a Cummins dealer so they no longer have the software to connect to a Cummins engine unless it is in a Freightliner chassis, although I had told them in my first call that it was not a Freightliner chassis.

Evaluation of Service Performed:
They hooked my coach to the computer even with the knowledge that they could not find the fault code as it was not a Freightliner chassis. For this they charged me 1.7 hours labor-$190.85. Note: I had Cummins roadside service respond to Tracey, hook up to their computer and diagnose the reason for the fault and they charged me $50.00.
