We took our RV in to have the oil changed and the
toilet worked on for a leak in October 2018.

Evaluation of Service Performed:

After the work was done we realized they had charged
us for work on the toilet that was under the
extended warranty. When we questioned them to have
us reimbursed they said they would call the warranty
company. They never called us back and when we
called them they said they denied the claim and she
repeatedly and adamantly said that we never told her
we had the extended warranty and we know that she
never asked us either. Since we are new to RVing we
would have expected they had that in their records
that we were covered after all they are the ones
that had no problem selling it to us. I found out
today from the warranty company that we had work
done the previous March and they had called for
prior authorization for that work and we never told
them it was under the extended warranty at that time
so they must have known then. I would just like to
warn people who have the extended warranty to
adamantly tell them up front that you have this
warranty otherwise you will be out a lot of money as
we are. We have tried to be reimbursed but with no
satisfaction. It is our understanding that Colton
never called for prior authorization as they should
have.

Norcold Basement refrigerator/freezer stopped working. The Norcold replacement unit would not fit into the compartment so an
Elgen unit was ordered.
|

Evaluation of Service Performed:  
|
Excellent service provided by Dee Johnson, as the Elgen unit was more exspensive than the Norcold unit replacement that would
not fit due to dimensional changes in their replacement unit. Warranty would not cover the total cost and thanks to Dee,
Colton RV covered the difference. I have had 3 previous service concerns since ownership of my coach and Dee has been very
helpful and accommodating when having work performed.

Body work is excellent, no sign of accident, even to me. Work included removing the entire dashboard There were a couple of
minor failures in putting it back together. One return trip got all the minor stuff fixed. Entire staff were courteous and we
became friends given that the coach was there over 3 months.

Bluetooth phone would not connect, Technician belittled me when I told him you do not need a cable to connect bluetooth. Had them install cell phone booster, found the cable hanging in the suspension, cable ruined. Heat pump not heating, first time told me it works fine, second time they stated Aqua-hot
worked fine, couldn't even test the correct item. Dealer changed batteries, battery cables chaffing on the metal post which is a fire hazard. Door leaking,
paper work stated fixed and leak checked, I found it still leaking using a garden hose, they obviously did not leak check it. Thermostat turns on when you
close cabinet door. Technician adjusted the door stop which did not fix the problem and you could see the miss-alignment of the doors.

They cannot fix anything right the first time ! Can't get anyone to return phone calls, I called the service manager and the sales manager (twice) and neither
called me back. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. To buy an expensive Tiffin motorhome and get treated this poorly is unacceptable. Sent an
email outlining my problems to James Colton and never got a response

In my opinion: The coach was never serviced before pick-up. Had many problems that would have been caught if a PDI was done. Service department is the
absolute worst I have dealt with. Have to return time and time again for the same things. Can't get things right the first time. Delays in parts always the
manufactures fault. Stay clear of this dealer.
