| Service Performed: | Diagnose furnace blower motor and replace same | ||
| Evaluation of Service Performed: | I removed furnace and carried it to them for diagnoses. I asked for a quote and received $330 and would next day air motor and install on Mon. morning for pickup. Diagnoses took less than .5 hr. and they called within 1 hr of opening Mon. morning, that it could be picked up. Still charged for 2.5 hr. of labor and $38 shop supplies(?). When I questioned it they initially tried to bully me into accepting over $100 above quote. When a manager came he worked on the charges on the computer and made them meet the original quote without saying a word to me or acknowledging my presence. They eventually did the right thing, but grudgingly. Very questionable billing practices!!! I have not used the furnace yet, but am assuming the repair was done competently. | ||
