Stewart Bodden came to Biloxi from Bossier City to work on my AC that had been leaking for approximately 8 months. I bought it new, & the Biloxi service
department could not fix it. Mr. Bodden came in as an expert to fix the problem. After a couple of days, he swore to us that it was fixed. Needless to say,
it wasn't. The next trip, rain came dripping in. I wrote Mr. Bodden, and he refused to answer my emails. So, I took it to a couple other RV dealers who were
appalled at what they saw. Mr. Bodden and his crew damaged the AC unit. There were missing bolts, stripped bolts, all thread used as a bolt, a rusty
condenser which left rust damage on the roof, and silicone on everything in an attempt to cover the damage. He gave us back our motorhome knowing
that it was damaged. On inspection, another RV service tech said that it was an embarrassment. Please be forewarned that Mr. Bodden does shoddy work,
and will jerry-rig problems, rather than repair them correctly.

I bought the trailer in February of 2011. Two weeks after the purchase the trailer brake wires were cut by the suspension due to a manufacturer defect. The trailer was stuck in the road and wouldn't move. I called Southern RV and I was told it wasn't their problem and to call someone to repair it. I eventually convinced them that it was their problem and they picked the trailer up after I was forced to back it home for two blocks. The trailer was out of service for 3 weeks. I attempted to explain that the brake wires were cut because of a suspension problem. They refused to listen. I contacted the manufacturer and they agreed that there was a suspension defect. The service department made no attempt to facilitate the repairs. The travel trailer was out of service for 4 months without an apology or any explanation. The repair was a 2 hour fix.

Microwave/convection oven defective from manufacturer. Was told by service manager, Mr. Bodden, that the manufacturer did not make that model anymore and did not have another to replace my unit. Mr. Bodden stated that the RV was still under warranty and customer, myself, expected a new oven. Mr. Bodden then said he worked it out that if he found an oven that would satisfy me, he would get the original manufacturer to reimburse So. RV. After about 2 months of
elapsed time, we did get an oven/microwave that worked out and fit in the designated area. So.RV installed and tested it and all has worked out. So. RV could have said they would refund the money to me let me find a unit on my own. But instead, they followed through with their commitment to me as a customer.

We smelled burning wires and the shore power went out. Generator power still working fine. Suspected transfer switch. They also found burned wiring in junction box where shore power enters coach and rewired this. They obtained a transfer switch from a competitor and had us done same day.

RV Tech who worked on our coach was very professional. Took time to explain problem to us and talk about possible causes. Likewise the Service Adviser.

Replace roof for insurance claim from storm damage.

I sent my 5th wheel to Southern RV a few years ago because the adjuster recommended them. They replaced the roof in a timely manner and were very friendly. I inspected the job when I picked it up and it appeared to be very well done. Later some of the trim came unglued (trim that was supposed to be screwed down) by the time I noticed it there was considerable water damage. I contacted the service department and was basically told tough stuff and this time they weren't very friendly. Had to replace 8 sheets of paneling, insulation, numerous studs and supports, and slide out floor. The adjuster advised me that he would vouch for my incident as faulty work if I wanted to pursue legal action, but I did not want them working on my unit anymore. I have just found this site and wanted to let everyone know how I was treated.
