  Date of Service:   11/1/2020
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   Was not allowed to touch my coach!
Evaluation of Service Performed:   RUN! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could leave a
zero, I would.... Frankly, I can't understand why
others rated this vendor so high. Maybe the vendor
was having a bad month!
HORRIBLE customer focus, and someone needs to teach
the woman in the office some manners when speaking
to customers.
After the first cancellation due to their workload,
I was dissapointed that I had stayed home all day
waiting for them to show up but I was more than
understanding and agreed to reschedule for the next
day. Jake was very courteous but kept prommising
me "First thing tomorrow', for 11 days. Then the
woman who called my wife copped an attitude and hung
up when we told her we were no longer interested in
using their services.
I realize that the fall of the year is a busy time
for rv repair in Knoxville. However, if you are
short handed or over booked, be honest with the
customer and appologize that you can not accomodate.
That would sit a whole lot better with the customer
than overprommising and underdelivering. Bottom
line, I wasn't told why they couldn't live up to
their commitment and was then met with poor customer
focus and poor PR when we decided to take our work
elsewhere.
I was left hanging until the day before a long
distance trip only to have to scramble at the last
minute to find a competitor to perform the work.
Thank you Lord for honest, courteous competitors!

  Date of Service:   8/19/2016
  Company Contact:   Jack
Work Done on:   Class A - Gasoline
Service Performed:   Fuel sensor replaced in a 2004 Winnebago Chieftain. An A/C hose was replaced and the oil was changed.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   The company was efficient and professional. Jack diagnosed our problems, ordered the part and made the repairs. He even let us leave our toad (also
ailing) on his lot and provided a vehicle to get us home. If you need repairs near Knoxville, TN, I would highly recommend Interstate RV Service.

  Date of Service:   4/25/2016
  Company Contact:   Jack (owner)
Work Done on:   Class A - Diesel
Service Performed:   Evacuate and re-charge dash A/C system
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Checked system and said it was holding pressure. Charged us $342. to put in 4 lbs of 134. Never suggested that I should put in dye just in case. A week
later we had no A/C. Went to different repair location in a different state and was charged $142 to do the exact same service plus install dye. This location
did the same job with the same machine in less than an hour. Interstate charged me 1.6 hours labor. They also charge us double the cost for the same
amount of Freon. Later found out that we were charged more because we were "passing through" and he had to "work us in". I had called him that morning
from 150 miles away to see if he could take us at about 3pm and he said he could. I call that an appointment. The owner knew we were full-timers and
were headed to Virginia. When called by the manager of the location where I had it recharged, and repaired, he was told I was charged more because we
had to be "worked in". Interstate refused to cover any portion of the work I had to have re-done because he didn't have enough courtesy to suggest I add
dye just in case.

Service Performed:   Check for leaks and charge dash air system on 2007 Allegro Bus.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   They charged the system and said it had no leaks. Didn't offer, or take the time to add dye to the system just in case there was a leak. Charged us $342.00
Four days later we had no A/C again. I feel we were ripped off because we were "just passing thru". The place I got the problem fixed at Alban Tire in
Springfield, VA evacuated and charged the system with dye and charged us $142 using the same machine and the same amount of Freon. They then found
the leak.
