The check engine light came on intermittently on our motorhome, causing loss of power. I contacted another facility and managed to get an appointment
two days later. On the morning of the appointment that facility was unable to find the problem so I called Freightliner of Tucson. They had me bring it right in for �express diagnosis �and two hours later found I needed a new water pump. They also discovered that the Air-Minder for the air filter was not working and recommended that the air filter be changed. By this time it was late in the day so they told me they might not be able to get the parts in by the next day, but no problem (for me) they had four full hook-up sites right at their faculty for my use, free of charge. The parts did come in the next morning and I was back on the road by that afternoon. They had me back on the road 29 hours from the time I pulled in for the diagnosis! Everyone at Freightliner, from the front desk to the mechanic, to the check out desk were friendly and professional. Are they a bit more expensive than some of the other shops? Yes, but from my experience, worth every penny. |

Diagnostic program performed with no resolution of issue. Tech then began replacing parts. Purported seized plunger in pump however later found out that
this would cause engine to not run well or not at all which was not the case. Problem went away while at service center but returned later. Very expensive repair work that didn't fix the problem. |
