Pulled generator and supposedly took it to the local Cummins dealer in Ocala to have checked. Told me it was $2000 to repair. Cummins was going to do
some of the work for them. Brought it back to me 2 days later and 3 miles from my house it quit working again. Called them when we got back home and they did come out and reset the code. Took it out again and it quit. Finally took it to Cummins in Ocala and come to find out they only purchased a $100 board from Cummins and repaired it themselves. Said they replaced brushed and all kinds of stuff for $2000. Cummins said none of the parts were replaced, only the $100 board. It cost me another $600 with Cummins but it's now working like a charm thanks to Cummins in Ocala. When I got the 2nd receipt from Mobile R-V Service, it had another name Coast To Coast Mobile RV hand written on the receipt. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS, THEY ARE A BIG RIP OFF! it was an expensive lesson learned. |
