| Service Performed: | Chassis and engine service. (Done annually) Also, for the date mentioned, they found and repaired a rattle underneath. | ||
| Evaluation of Service Performed: | The rattle was hard to find. They went so far as tighten the rivets on the power steps in attempts to find and fix the rattle, which started after a 2,500 mile trip to Yosemite Nat�l park. They repaired anything that even resembled a rattle. They had me come down and test drive the rig to make sure I was happy with the repairs before considering it completed. They also lay down paper on the floor and plastic over the leather seats and steering wheel so NO grease or dirt is ever tracked in. (Every time the coach is taken for service) The service writers LISTEN to my concerns and EVERYTHING on the list is always done when I come to pick up the coach. In fact, Western States is the only place I�ve been to for service where they do everything on a punch list, unlike many other places where you check the work and half of it is not done, causing you to waste trips. (And leave the coach for addition service time) For me, Western States has always done it right the FIRST time. They also check other maintenance items that I don�t think of, and call before preceding with repairs. Once, it was a small diesel leak on the engine. They found and repaired it, and I did NOT know about the leak beforehand. The mechanic saw the leak and repaired it as needed without having it on the service item list. They go above and beyond the call of duty. | ||
