  Date of Service:   4/5/2018
Work Done on:   Class A - Gasoline
Service Performed:   We bought a used 2014 Thor Windsport in April of
2018. I noticed the full-wall slide was not all the
way out at the rear when we 1st looked at it and the
salesman (Chris) said he would have service check it
out before we bought i, service departmrnt was also
supposed to make sure all items/appliances were
working before we took possession too. When we test
drove it there was a piece of black hard plastic
laying in the floor but it didn't appear to be
broken from anything inside the camper. They
supposedly cleaned/detailed the inside prior to
letting us take it. The 1st time I open the slide
after we get home, I find a big gouge in the vinyl
flooring from the piece of black plastic (it had
been wedged underneath the slide floor). I take
pictures, send them to Chris, he talks to the
general manager and they agree to pay/perform a
mobile repair on the vinyl at my house. At first he
says he'll have the vinyl guy contact me and set up
a time. A month goes by without any call from the
vinyl guy so I text the salesman and also tell him
we are having trouble with the slide out. He says
he's forwarding my contact info to the service
director and they will contact me. No one ever
calls. I call the service department on 2 occasions 8
days apart (didn't get name the 1st time) and both
times they tell me they don't have any info about my
problem and they're going to have to get with the
salesman. I then leave 2 voice mails, about a week
apart, to Julianne ( took my 2nd call) and she fails
to return my call both times. By now my slide-out
has something seriously wrong so I take it to a
dealer that has done rv repairs for me in the past
and leave it with them to figure out the slide
problem because I can't get this horrible Camping
World location to even return a phone call. I call
Camping World again and ask to speak to the Service
Manager and surprisingly he does return my call
within an hour. I explain all of this to him and
what does he want me to do, bring the unit in for
them to examine it (when I was told they would have
someone come to the house and fix it). And they
would like to look at the slide-out too. Really? I
don't think so.

I called the factory today and found out the unit
has had two major repairs done on the slide-out
system under warranty and this Camping World did the
2nd repair, just 3 months after another dealer had
done a complete replacement of the Schwintek system.
I'm pretty sure they knew the slide-out wasn't
operating properly when they sold it to me. I wish
I'd have thought to get the VIN# and call the
factory before I'd bought it.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Still haven't gotten any work done, that's half the
problem.

  Service Performed:   Handicapped lift installation
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Didn't do work. Kept RV for 5 1/2 weeks, kept putting me off as of when work would be started. What was the point of making an appointment 3 weeks in
advanced. That is 8 1/2 weeks waiting to have the lift installed. Abe Thompson RV did an excellent job within 2 days.

  Work Done on:   Travel Trailer
Service Performed:   Bought the unit new, great buying experience. Took it out for first trip. Frig not working, toilet leaking, shower leaking, cabinet latch problem. Ok, warranty
work. Great experience ended at purchase. No one wanted to talk to us. Was told it would take a month. Excuse was too much work in front of them.Took
them 2 weeks to even look at it to confirm problems. Parts arrived a week later and it was going to take two more weeks before it would be in the shop. I
stopped in on a Saturday, and jeepers, it seemed they could get it in.They had fixed toilet and shower.Electric only frig. Simple slide in. Should be 15
minutes. We drove away with it 5 hours later. That's ok. Got it home and the floor was a filthy, muddy mess. No clean up done. Another cabinet latch
broken. I'll find another shop. I understand sometimes work takes time, but this is more about how they didn't want to deal in a
professional manner.

Work Done on:   5th Wheel Trailer
Service Performed:   Nationwide no longer exists - it was purchased by Camping World. Since they took over we have had two different repairs done - one a gear pack R&R, the
second adjustment of the slide they replaced the gear pack and rails on.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Piss poor, and that is being polite. Took over 3 months to get the initial repair done - excuse after excuse after excuse; ultimately told them to put the parts
in the 5th wheel and I'd take it somewhere else. Amazingly they got it 'fixed' in two days. HOWEVER, the slide was not adjusted properly and it had to go
back for that. Another week.

Company Contact:   Mike Dowell, Service Manager
Work Done on:   5th Wheel Trailer
Service Performed:   Repair of cabinet supporting microwave oven. Microwave had to be removed and cabinet 'beefed up' to support the weight of the unit.
Evaluation of Service Performed:   Very good - Mike is a true professional with some excellent techs working for him. Job was done with true craftsmanship - glued and screwed yet you don't see the screws and no sign of excess glue or anything like that.

Only problem is that the dealership has limited storage space so you have to get the unit in when expected and pick it up when done so that the next customer can get in. Once some construction is done that should be resolved some.
  Value of Service:   Excellent
  Quality of Service:   Excellent
