Service Performed:  
Had Check Engine light on. They put a scope on the engine while I waited. The scope indicated bad EGR valve and another EGR problem. I arranged to return and leave the car with them several days later. In the process of getting to the EGR valve, the mechanic discovered the problem was restricted to a bad upper intake gasket and bad throttle body gasket. Replacement of the two gaskets resolved the problem much cheaper than EGR valve replacement.
