Evaluation of Service Performed:
I purchased a set of Yokohama tires at Canyon Tires for my motorhome. I immediately noticed a handling problem with the new set of tires. The motorhome began exhibiting the tail-wagging-the-dog syndrome. After 7 months of trying different tires pressures, I contacted Brian, the manager of Canyon Tire, and explained my dilemma. He was less than helpful and said there was nothing he or the tire manufacturer could do. I contacted Yokohama on my own anyway. They were apologetic with the way I was treated by Canyon Tire. The kind folks at Yokohama ended up giving me a partial credit on my tires, towards another brand of my choice. The only caveat is that I had to return to Canyon Tire. I called Brian back at Canyon and asked if they could give me some sort of adjustment on the new tires or labor, since Yokohama was willing to work with me. Again, the answer was no. To make things worse, the installers scratched my aluminum wheels during the exchange. I wrote letters to the GM, but never got to talk to anybody but Brian. After 6 weeks of arguing back and forth, Canyon Tire finally agreed to reimburse me for 50% of the cost to have the wheels repaired. This place is NOT RV friendly.
