Had routine maintenance performed in addition to having my Inverter/Charger replaced due to improper install at the factory.

The work on the Inverter/Charger turned out to be quite extensive due to the meltdown and subsequent failure. Van Boxtel had the Motorhome repaired and
back on the road on a timely basis. When I took the motorhome in I knew Van Boxtel was not a dealer for this manufacturer. They actually worked with the
manufacturer and got the repairs covered under warranty. I couldn't be more pleased with the work performed and the fact they were able to get things done
through warranty.

I was a little hesitant after the bottom reviews but we had great service. I
decided to support them because they are a local dealer. Jeff K. was easy to
work with and the technician came out and talked to us. Sometimes we
don't always say positive things to these businesses but I will definately say
positve experience!
Thank you for making it easy and a pleasant experience.

Repair water damage to front cap of coach, over cab.
|

|
Evaluation of Service Performed:
|
Spent $1800 disassembling front of coach, over cab, to repair water damage. One year later the side delaminated at the top, over the cab. The area was inspected by another dealer and it cost $1400 to repair it a second time. The second dealer reported (with photographic documentation) that Van Boxtel had re-sealed area very poorly--and in fact didn't even install insulation in the front of the coach, near the window. In fact, they didn't even re-seal the area correctly. The coach is stored inside in the winter, so there was minimal exposure to the elements--and there was STILL substantial damage to repair after Van Boxtel's work was finished.
All of this was reported to Van Boxtel's service manager, who basically told me (and the service manager of the second dealership) that the technician's at the *second* dealership were responsible for the damage, when they disassembled the coach! And Van Boxtel's service manager also implied that the second dealer's service department removed the insulation and then photographed the area--essentially falsifying their report to me.
We will never use Van Boxtel's service department again.

Determined reason for getting error message on our Workhorse W24/Itasca Sunrise. Was due to moisture in air intake area. Also checked for problem with steering on recall notice from Workhorse.

We dropped in cold; no appointment. They took us in immediately and the tech left his lunch break to help us. He found the problem, then explained the issue to me and told me how to clear it should it happen again. We were on the road again in about 1 hr.
Two weeks later the Service Rep called us to let us know that Winnebago had issued a notice regarding the problem they had fixed for us. We were not even one of their customers, and we were several states away when they called!

Poor on all counts, and the "service adviser" Bobbie was rude and arrogant during the discussion of the issues.
